The leadership of National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), Enugu State chapter has lauded the state Governor, Chief Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi over current efforts to restore the master plan of Enugu metropolis.

NORTHERN youths have revealed plans to mobilize its members across the Northern States for the peaceful rally at the US embassy over the alleged US$20million indictment of Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Air Peace, Barr. Allen Onyema by United States Department of Justice raising concern and suspicion over the alleged indictment and questioning the timing.

The Youth under the aegis of Arewa Youth Patriotic Front in a statement said the Air Peace Chairman, was allegedly being framed in collaboration with some Nigerians to undermine his business interest across Africa.

Police Arrest Imo Youths Over Alleged Invasion Of Zoo

A security joint task force led by the Monitoring team of the Imo State police command has arrested some youths from Nekede community for allegedly invading into the State Zoological Garden and  Wild life park in their locality on Friday with bulldozers to lay claim to a  portion of the zoo.

According to a source, the youths were said to have massively pulled down the fence of the zoo , destroying some animal equipment in the process.

Meanwhile, the state government has advised the community to remain calm and wait for outcome of police investigation.

Yoruba Council of Youths Worldwide (YCYW) yesterday rose from a meeting in Lagos and demanded from the Presidency a clarification on the fate of Vice President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo and his office, saying the controversies trailing the sacking of his aides were giving cause for concerns.

Hundreds of youths early Monday morning blocked the Minna-Suleja and the Minna-Bida roads in Niger State protesting against the dilapidated state of the federal highways.

The two road networks are the major access to and out of Niger State.

About 200 youths from Ibeju-Lekki community in Lagos State have graduated from the various skills acquisition programme organised by Dangote Petroleum Refinery as a way of transforming society and providing employment opportunities for the youths.

Angry youths from Safana Local Government Area of Katsina State, Saturday evening, stormed the Katsina Emir Palace with three bodies of victims killed at Zaka village.

Censors Board caution youths against pornography

Mr Adedayo Thomas, Executive Director, National Film and Video Censors Board (NFVCB), has advised youths against watching and sharing pornographic, violent and other unwholesome video contents on the internet.

He gave the advice on Sunday at a capacity building on film classification and rating for youths in Darazo Local Government Area of Bauchi State.
