The Presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi has opened up on his choice of running mate, saying he will actually prefer a younger person as a Vice-Presidential candidate from Northern Nigeria.

The former Anambra State governor made this assertion while featuring on an Arise TV Morning Show on Wednesday which was monitored by Africa Daily News, New York.

He went on to reveal that he prefers a younger person who has something to offer to complement his ticket rather than recycling old hands who had been in the government before now.

Wike Hails Yahaya Bello Over Youth Inclusion In Governance

The Governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike has commended his Kogi State counterpart, Yahaya Bello over what he described as his youth inclusiveness in governance.

Wike who is a presidential aspirant on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) pointed out that Bello’s inclusion of youths in governance would enable the younger ones learn governance from a young age to become good future leaders.

He gave the commendation on Wednesday when he paid a courtesy visit to Bello at the Kogi governor’s  residence in Lokoja.
