House Of Reps Takes Decision On Sack Of Over 300 Oil Workers

The House of Representatives has said that the over 300 disengaged casual staff of the Warri Refining And Petro-Chemical Company, WRPC should be reinstated without further delay.
The House made the call at plenary on Tuesday, after a member, Hon. Thomas Eveyitomi moved the motion that the sack of the workers should be looked into.
Eveyitomi wondered why the company should sack the workers in spite of the Federal Governmentβs directives that no government agency or private establishment should do so at a time when the world is battling a pandemic.
