Dangote Breaks Into List Of World’s Top 100 Richest People

Aliko Dangote, Africa’s richest man, is now on the list of 100 richest people in the world.

He became $4.3 billion richer in 2019 with earnings from cement, flour and sugar, according to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index.

The 62 years old mogul ended the decade with a net worth of almost $15 billion, making him the 96th wealthiest man on earth.

Dangote incorporated his own business selling cement at 21 and shifted to manufacturing the building material in the 1990s.

The ranking was released by the International Federation of Football History and Statistics (IFFHS).

Rohr is joint 19th in the ranking alongside five others – the national team coaches of Sweden, South Korea, Denmark, China and Iran.

Martin To Skip Olympic Time-Trial To Focus On Worlds

German cyclist Tony Martin is to skip the Olympics in Tokyo next year to focus on the world championships, the time-trial specialist told broadcaster MDR on Thursday.

The four-time world champion and 2012 Olympic silver medallist told the German radio station that he had made the decision after being told the Olympic time-trial course was “extremely difficult”.

“My manager went over there,” he said. “He described the course as extremely difficult.

“I am going to concentrate 100 percent on the world championships.”
