Rejected Bills: Again, Women Storm National Assembly Complex

Women in very large numbers on Tuesday stormed the National Assembly following the rejection of women-related bills by the members of the legislature two weeks ago.
Africa Daily News, New York recalls that last week, women who came under the aegis of Nigerian Women Groups, had protested against the action of the lawmakers.
They had also promised to return if the decision was not reversed.
They made good their promise as they returned in larger numbers, on Tuesday, promising to continue the protest until the lawmakers bowed to their demands.
