6 Dead, 65 Injured As Windstorm Devastates Jigawa

JigawaΒ Emergency Management Agency (SEMA) has confirmed six persons killed and 65 others by windstorm in Kafinhausa Local Government Area.
Executive Secretary of the agency, Yusuf Sani, confirmed this to Africa Daily News, New York on Thursday morning.Β
He said the windstorm wreaked havoc on the affected community and destroyed several houses, adding that the agency was conducting damage assessment exercise to ascertain the extend of destruction caused by the disaster.
