Workers Day: Group Decries Late Payment To Nigerian Seafarers

The Nigerian Merchant Navy Officers and Water Transport Senior Staff Association has decried the late payment of local seafarers salaries by their employers.
The National President of the senior seafarers cadre, Comrade Bob Yousou made this known in his Workersβ day speech made available to newsmen in Lagos on Sunday.
Yousou likened the treatment of seafarers by their employers, ship owners, manning agents as slavery arrangement.
