The United States President, Joe Biden, and his French counterpart President, Emmanuel Macron have expressed serious outrage at the discovery of mass graves which has about 440 Ukrainians in the city of Izium.

Africa Daily News, New York reports that Izium which is located in the recently liberated Kharkiv region by Ukrainian forces.

Ukrainian police on Saturday reported the discovery of three bodies with their hands tied behind their backs as Russia stepped up the shelling the east even as Washington slammed Russian President Vladimir Putin’s ‘depravity’.

In a Tuesday statement to the United Nations Security Council, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy said that Russian troops had committed the most terrible war crimes since World War Two as they invaded Ukraine.
