The police in Anambra State have declared Ifeanyi Ejiofor, a lawyer, wanted over the clash Monday in Oraifite which left at least four persons dead.

The police commissioner in the state, John Abang, in a video message circulated by the spokesman of the police, Haruna Mohammed, on Tuesday, urged members of the public with any information of his whereabouts to avail the police or any other security agencies of such information.

Police Nab Most Wanted Serial Rapist In Lagos

The Lagos State Police Command has arrested a  suspected most wanted serial rapist at the Egbeda area of the State.
The suspect, Chuks Emmanuel, is currently facing interrogation at the Area F Police Command, Ikeja , for alleged rape and fraud.
Emmanuel , according to a  police source has been on the police wanted list for over a long period of time until last week when a special squad deployed by the Area F Commander, ACP Olasoji Akinbayo , picked him up in a hotel.

ICPC Declares Obono-Obla Of SPIP Wanted For Crime

Nigeria’s anti-fraud office has declared former chairman of the Special Investigation Panel for the Recovery of Public Property (SPIP) Okoi Obono-Obla wanted.

Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) said it took the action due to his Obono-Obla’s “repeated failure to appear before it to answer questions bordering on allegations of fraud and corruption”.

Obono is facing allegations of certificate forgery and other corruption-related charges.

How woman who wanted $1m fake notes defrauded ₦700,000

A 28-year-old woman,  Titilayo Shittu, on  Monday appeared before an Ebute Meta Magistrates’ Court, Lagos State, for allegedly obtaining  N700,000 under false pretences of printing one million dollars for her victim.

Shittu is standing trial for conspiracy, obtaining under false pretences, stealing and breach of the peace.

She, however,  pleaded not guilty.

The prosecutor, Sgt. Ola Adelowo, told the court that the defendant  collected the sum from the complainant,  Mrs Vivian Uzor after hypnotising her.
