Hadi: We Are Waiting For Funds To Complete Enugu Airport

Aviation Minister, Senator Hadi Sirika, informed the Senate yesterday that the much completion of the Akanu Ibiam International Airport, Enugu, depends on the time the Federal Government releases money for it.

He, however, expressed optimism that the project would be completed by April 2020, “if the money is released now.”

Speaking at the defence of the 2020 Budget of the ministry before the Senate Committee on Aviation, Hadi noted that money to complete the project had been approved by President Muhammadu Buhari, but “we are waiting for the release and I am sure it will be released very soon.”…
