42 parties to challenge Ganduje’s victory in court

Forty-two political parties on the platform of the Coalition of United Political Parties (CUPP) Kano State chapter are set to challenge the re-election of the state governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje in court.

Kano State CUPP chairman Muhammad Abdullahi Raji stated this while addressing journalists on the outcome of the rerun election won by Ganduje of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

The Sokoto State Chapter of All Progressives Congress (APC) on Sunday rejected the declaration of Gov. Aminu Tambuwal as winner of the just-concluded governorship election in the state.

Deputy Senate President, Senator Ike Ekweremadu, has described the verdict of Osun gubernatorial election tribunal which gave victory to the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Senator Ademola Adeleke, as a victory for democracy.

Imo gubernatorial poll: INEC robbed me of victory – Nwosu

The governorship candidate of the Action Alliance (AA) in the just-concluded gubernatorial election in Imo state, Uche Nwosu, has said that the declaration of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Emeka Ihedioha, as the governor-elect, did not meet the constitutional requirement and therefore unacceptable.
