The Arewa Youth Consultative Forum, AYCF, President-General, Yerima Shettima on Tuesday insisted that Nasir El-Rufai, Governor of Kaduna State was working towards becoming the Vice President in 2023.

Shettima, who spoke with reporters, made the remark while condemning the governor for saying the Southern part of Nigeria should be allowed to produce the country’s next president.

Nigeria’s former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar has reacted to the Supreme Court’s judgment which nullified the election of the All Progressives Congress’, APC, governor-elect, David Lyon and declare the PDP’s candidate, Senator Douye Diri as the new governor-elect of Bayelsa State.

The Supreme Court had nullified the election of Lyon and his running mate, Biobarakuma Degi-Eremienyo. It declared the PDP candidates the winners.

Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo, on Sunday marked one year of his survival of helicopter crash last year with a thanksgiving service at the Aso Villa Chapel, Abuja.

A year go, Osinbajo and 11 other persons escaped unhurt in a helicopter crash in Kabba, Kogi State, while on campaign trail for the 2019 general election in Nigeria.
