The Presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi has opened up on his choice of running mate, saying he will actually prefer a younger person as a Vice-Presidential candidate from Northern Nigeria.

The former Anambra State governor made this assertion while featuring on an Arise TV Morning Show on Wednesday which was monitored by Africa Daily News, New York.

Barring last-minute changes, Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State be running mate to former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar in the 2023 Presidential election on the platform of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).

Africa Daily News, New York gathered that the National Advisory Committee that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) set up to look into the report of an earlier committee has recommended the Rivers governor.
