UPP Leaders Dissolve Party, Joins APC

Following the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC)βs deregistration of 31 political parties, the leadership of the National Executive Committee (NEC), including the Board of Trustees (BOT) and other organs of the United Progressive Party (UPP), has joined the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
The former UPP leadership decided after an extraordinary meeting in Abuja.
The All Progressive Congress (APC) will now be a coalition of four former political parties; theΒ All Nigeria Peoples Party (ANPP), the Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN), the Congress for Progressive Change (CPC) and the United Progressive Party (UPP).
