3 Reportedly Dead In Fresh Philippine University Shooting

Tragedy struck today when three people were reportedly killed in a school shooting which had taken place at a university in the Philippine capital, Manila in what appears to have been a targeted assassination.

The incident had occurred at Ateneo de Manila University as some of the law students and their families had arrived for a graduation ceremony that was to be attended by the Supreme Court chief justice.

Coronavirus: Uni-Ibadan Suspends Foreign Conferences

Authorities of the University of Ibadan (UI), has said a monitoring team which will ensure compliance on precautions to contain the spread of Coronavirus, also known as Covid 19, has been set up by the university.

The institution in a statement signed by the Director, University Health Service, Dr. Aderonke B. Ajav, a copy of which was obtained by DAILY POST on Friday, added that the monitoring team will go round to ensure compliance.

The institution in the statement dated, 12th March 2020, said that it has suspended till further notice all international conferences to be hosted by the school,

NUC Confirms Review Of Nigeria’s University Curriculum

The Executive Secretary of the National Universities Commission (NUC), Prof. Abubakar Rasheed, said the agency was in the final stage of “a draft review’’ of Nigeria’s university curriculum.
