United Eke Out Rare Away Win On Emotional Day In Belgrade

Manchester United made an emotional return to Belgrade on Thursday and, after a ceremony to remember the ‘Busby Babes’, eked out a first away win since March, 1-0, over Partizan.

Anthony Martial scored the only goal of the Europa League Group L game with a penalty kick after 43 minutes, but the hosts had eight strikes on target to just three by United.

The game marked the return to the ground where Matt Busby’s famous team of talented youngsters played their last game, a European Cup quarter-final against Red Star in February 1958.

United States Senators Call For Security Probe Of TikTok

Two senior US senators called for the government to study national security risks possibly posed by Chinese-owned video app TikTok, saying it could leave American users vulnerable to Beijing’s spying.

Senate Democratic Leader Chuck Schumer and Republican Senator Tom Cotton asked the Directorate of National Intelligence to “conduct an assessment of the national security risks” posed by TikTok.

“With over 110 million downloads in the US alone, TikTok is a potential counterintelligence threat we cannot ignore,” they said.

Schumer and Cotton suggested that TikTok’s owner ByteDance could be forced to share user information with Chinese intelligence.

‘Manchester United Managerial Job Not Too Big For Me’

The Manchester United manager’s job is not too big for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, the Norwegian insisted in spite of their woeful form. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has never felt the managerial job at Manchester United is too big for him, despite a dreadful start to his first full season in charge.

After replacing Jose Mourinho in December and initially overseeing a significant upturn in fortunes for United, Solskjaer has seen his side struggled mightily through the first eight games of the new league campaign. Bad Performance Might Cost Manchester United £400m Deal

It has become desperately pertinent for Manchester United to begin a search for new shirt sponsor as Chevrolet is highly unlikely to renew their deal while the club continues to struggle on the field of play.

The American car manufacturer signed a staggering £410million agreement in 2012, when Sir Alex Ferguson was at the helm and United were consistently challenging for top honors. The seven-year deal came into play in 2014. In the time United have displayed the Chevrolet brand on their shirts, they have failed to win the Premier League title and come nowhere near lifting the Champions League.…

Manchester United And Arsenal EPL Clash Ends In 1-1 Draw

Manchester United were held to a 1-1 draw at home by Arsenal on Monday in a Premier League game which was a poor imitation of some of the past clashes between the clubs.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang’s 58th minute goal, given after VAR review, cancelled out Scott McTominay’s well-struck opener on the stroke of halftime, but it was a game which highlighted the weaknesses of the two teams.

The result leaves United in 10th place with just nine points, their worst start after seven games for 30 years and they have won just one of their last six league games.
