Former British finance minister Rishi Sunak on Sunday announced that he will run to be UK’s next prime minister, making it the second bid to lead the country in months.

UK Warns Of Possible Attack In FCT, Restricts Access Embassy

The government of the United Kingdom (UK), has updated its terrorism alert to citizens in Nigeria warning of potential attacks by terrorists. 

The UK cautioned of an increased threat of terrorist attacks in the federal capital territory (FCT).

UK citizens were advised to stay alert, “consider movements carefully, follow the local news and the advice of security authorities”.

The foreign travel advisory cautioned against visits to markets, shopping malls, hotels, bars, restaurants, football viewing centres, displacement camps, transport terminals (including train networks), government buildings — and schools.
