Tyson Fury has claimed he would have no trouble beating a prime Mike Tyson as he labelled himself the best heavyweight boxer of the last thousand years.

The Gypsy King is aiming to be crowned the undisputed champion when he faces Anthony Joshua twice next year in a mouthwatering Battle of Britain.

Fury believes it is a question of when and not if he will get his hands on all four belts and claims no legendary fighter could have stood in his way.

Joshua ‘Never So Excited’ As He Prepares For Pulev Bout

Anthony Joshua says he has “never been so excited” as he prepares to defend his heavyweight belts against Kubrat Pulev ahead of a potential all-British showdown with Tyson Fury.

Joshua regained the WBA, IBF and WBO titles with a unanimous points win over Andy Ruiz Jr in Saudi Arabia in December.

That victory saw the Briton avenge the first defeat of his professional career, in New York last June.

Hearn ‘Ready To Conclude’ Deal For Joshua v Fury Fight

Anthony Joshua’s promoter Eddie Hearn has revealed he is “ready to conclude a deal” for an all-British showdown between his fighter and Tyson Fury in December to determine the undisputed world heavyweight champion.

Fury beat American Deontay Wilder last month to win the WBC title, meaning he and Joshua, the WBA, IBF and WBO champion, hold all four of the major belts in boxing’s heavyweight division.
