The Presidency has insisted it will not react to speculations about the United States of America’s plan to place a travel ban on the country.

Reports emerged on Tuesday, indicating that the President Donald Trump’s administration has plans to add seven countries across the world to their travel ban list.

Tanzania, Sudan, Eritrea, Nigeria, Kyrgyzstan, Belarusn and Myanmar were the countries mentioned.

Flooding Causes Travel Disruption In Wales, Staffordshire

Roads and rail services have been affected as heavy rain fell across most of Wales and parts of England.

A mother and child had to be rescued from a trapped car by firefighters, after it became stuck in flood water at Garthmyl near Montgomery in Powys.

More than 100mm (4 inches) of rain fell in 24 hours across parts of Wales, according to the Met Office.

Govt to supervise El-Zakzaky’s travel for treatment abroad

The Kaduna State High Court yesterday granted the leader of the Islamic Movement of Nigeria (IMN), Sheikh Ibraheem El-Zakzaky and his wife, Zeenat, permission to travel to an Indian hospital for medical treatment.

The ruling was not without conditions attached. El-Zakzaky and Zeenat must not go to any other hospital other than the one they specifically requested. Also, the travel of the Shiites’ leader and his wife must be under the strict supervision of the state officials.

Terrorism: UK warns against travel to 21 states in Nigeria

The Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) of the United Kingdom(UK) has cautioned British nationals against travelling to 21 states in Nigeria.In a statement on its website “updated June 17, 2019” and “still current at June 18, 2019,” the FCO listed the states as: Borno, Yobe, Adamawa, Gombe, “riverine areas of Delta, Bayelsa, Rivers, Akwa Ibom and Cross River States within 20 kilometres of the border with Niger in Zamfara State.
