Royal Rumble: Oluwo To Appear Before Court Over Assault

A Chief Magistratesβ Court sitting in Osogbo, Osun State on Friday ordered Iwo monarch, Oba Abdulrasheed Adewale Akanbi, to appear before it over alleged assault of fellow traditional ruler.
Oba Akanbi, was on February 14 alleged to have physically assaulted the Agbowu of Ogbaagba, Oba Dhikrulahi Akinropo, in the presence of the Assistant β Inspector-General of Police in charge of Zone 11, Mr. Bashir Makama, during a peace meeting.
Makama was said to have called Oluwo and some other royal fathers within the zone to the meeting, for the purpose of making peace among them over lingering land disputes.
