Obasanjo, Osinbajo, Tinubu Meet In Lagos

Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo, former President Olusegun Obasanjo and the All Progressives Congress (APC) National Leader, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, met in Lagos on Saturday.

They graced the 80th birthday celebration of Chief Rasaq Okoya, founder of Eleganza group of companies.

Other in attendance were Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu; Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed; former Commonwealth Secretary-General, Chief Emeka Anyaoku; Africa’s richest man, Aliko Dangote as well as traditional rulers.

Born in Lagos on Jan. 12, 1940, Okoya is a billionaire industrialist and the Aare of Lagos.

Labaran Maku, the National Secretary, All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), has said he didn’t meet former vice president Atiku Abubakar, All Progressives Congress (APC) national leader, Bola Tinubu, among others, to float a new political platform ahead of 2023.

Immediate past president of the Senate, Dr Bukola Saraki, Governors Nyesom Wike, Aminu Tambuwal and Bala Mohammed also allegedly attended the meeting.

Maku, a former minister of information, spoke on Sunday while fielding questions from the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Wakama, Nasarawa State.

Former vice president, Atiku Abubakar, and ex-Lagos governor, Bola Tinubu, met on Saturday.

The leaders, who met in Minna, Niger State, were in a cordial mood as they exchanged pleasantries and chatted.

Atiku was the presidential candidate of Nigeria’s main opposition, the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) while Tinubu is the national leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), the ruling party.On arrival, Tinubu and his entourage were received by Governor of Niger State, Sani Bello.

Tinubu was in Minna to receive an award of Honorary Doctorate Degree today in Ibrahim Badamosi Babangida University, Lapai.
