
UCH Cancels ₦1,000 Daily Electricity Bill For Patients After Backlash
The University College Hospital, Ibadan has openly announced that it has withdrawn its controversial memo which had mandated some of the patients who were using the health facility to pay a sum of ₦1,000 per day for electricity bills.
Africa Daily News, New York recalls that an internal memo, had mandated that each of the patient using the facility is to pay ₦1,000 on a daily basis. The management of the tertiary health institution said that it took the decision due to erratic supply of electricity in the facility.
