The Plateau State Police Command

The Plateau State Police Command has confirmed the killing of the Senior Special Assistant to the Benue State Governor, Samuel Ortom on Security, AIG Christopher Dega (Rtd) by gunmen.

Africa Daily News, New York gathered that the governor’s aide was murdered by unknown gunmen in Jos, the Plateau State Capital.

The confirmation was contained in a statement issued on Wednesday by the Plateau State’s Police Public Relations Officer, ASP Ubah Gabriel Obaba.

According to the PPRO, the command has arrested some suspects in connection with the crime.
