Resident Doctors Set To Embark On Nationwide Strike

The Nigerian Association of Resident Doctors, NARD, has threatened to embark on another nationwide strike starting from the 7th of September, 2020.
The association in a statement signed by the President, Dr. Aliyu Sokomba, Secretary, Dr. Bilqis Mohammad, and the Publicity Secretary, Dr. Egbogu Stanley, disclosed that the strike will begin after the 21-day ultimatum given to the Federal Government elapsed on August 17.

According to the Association, the Federal Government is yet to implement the residency funding, coronavirus allowance, hazard allowance, and also outstanding salary shortfall of 2014, 2015,
