INEC: APC Congratulates Yakubu Over Senate Confirmation

The Nigeria ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) has sent a congratulatory message to Professor Mahmood Yakubu on his reappointment and Senateβs confirmation as Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC). The party said Yakubu has the task of ensuring an unbiased and apolitical election in Nigeria.
This was made known in a statement by APCβs Deputy National Publicity Secretary, Yekini Nabena, who however admitted that Nigeriaβs election was not perfect.
