Majority Of Nigerians Don’t Trust Police – Gov Fayemi

The Governor of Ekiti State, Dr. Kayode Fayemi, has expressed concern that many Nigerians don’t trust the police, adding that citizens do not also see police officers as their friends.

He restated the need for the government to introduce a reform mechanism that would improve Nigerians’ trust in police.

The Governor of Ekiti State, Kayode Fayemi, has denied reports that he failed to see President Muhammadu Buhari, when he visited the Aso Presidential Villa.

In a statement signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Yinka Oyebode, the governor accused a senior presidential aide of planting the story.
