Don’t Restore Nnamdi Kanu’s Bail, FG Tells Court

The Federal Government has asked the Federal High Court in Abuja to reject a request by the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu, to restore his revoked bail.

On Friday we obtained the counter-affidavit filed before the court by the Federal Government to oppose an application filed in April last year by Kanu seeking the restoration of his bail.

The Federal Government’s objection to the application was filed by the prosecuting counsel, Mr Magaji Labaran, on January 17, 2020.

Chairman of Christian Association of Nigeria in Adamawa State, Stephen Mamza, has urged President Muhammad Buhari to sack all service chiefs.

FFK Explodes As Miyetti Tells Buhari To Nab Yoruba Chiefs

Former Aviation Minister, Femi Fani-Kayode, has dared the President Muhammadu Buhari-led government to arrest the Yoruba leaders promoting the establishment of the new security outfit, Amotekun in the South West.

Fani-Kayode said this while reacting to the call made by the National President General of Miyetti Allah Kautal Hore, Bello Abdullahi Bodejo to arrest the Yoruba leaders endorsing Amotekun.

NAN had reported that Bodejo said FG should not just stop at banning the outfit but should arrest those involved in making decisions for its creation with immediate effect.

2023: Stop Distracting Buhari – Ude Tells Enugu APC

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Enugu State, Comrade Adolphus Ude has urged the Ben-Nwoye-led leadership of the party in the State to stop distracting the President Muhammdu Buhari administration with the 2023 presidency contest.

NAN reports that Ude belongs to the Enugu APC leadership under Deacon Okey Ogbodo.
