The Department for International Trade and International Development has committed an additional £2.5 million of UK aid funding for the Commonwealth Standards Network (CSN) programme, pledging that it would continue to partner Commonwealth in championing free trade in the face of growing global challenges.

UNICEF, EU Support Healthcare In Bauchi With $1.8M

The Bauchi Field Office of the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) in collaboration with the European Union, has distributed motorcycles worth $1.856 million to 323 PHCs.

They also provided a mobile storage unit worth $14,000, built capacity of 3500 health workers on different primary healthcare services, as well as provided medical supplies, equipment to boost healthcare in Bauchi State.

UNICEF has also supported the delivery of healthcare to 144 hard-to-reach settlements in nine local government areas using 9mobile outreach teams and provided outreach services through 600 Community Resource Persons (CORPs).

Nigerians Must Support Igbo Presidency In 2023 – Iwuanyanwu

Chief Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu, an elder statesman and frontline politician, has said the South-East geopolitical zone must be allowed to produce the next President in 2023.

This, he said, would make Nigeria to actually move to the next level of social, economic and political emancipation.
