A spokesman for Rwanda’s Directorate General of Immigration and Emigration told CNN that Gregg Schoof was deported back to the United States due to “failure to comply with Rwandan laws.”
Schoof emailed Rwandan journalists on Sunday inviting them to a news conference where he said he would discuss the closure of his radio station and court cases, the Reuters news agency reported.

The Federal Government, States and Local Government Areas (LGAs) shared N762.5 billion as federal allocation for the month of June.

₦649bn Paris Club refund available for states to share

States are to share N649 billion – the final tranche of the Paris Club Refund.

But debtor-states will have to settle their debts soon, Finance Minister Mrs.  Zainab Ahmed said yesterday, adding that the Federal Government plans to begin the final phase of the debt refund.

More than 20 states willing to pay minimum wage

Twenty states are likely to pay the N30,000 monthly minimum wage.

Their governors spoke on the controversial matter after Jubril Al-Sudani (President Muhammadu Buhari) signed the New Minimum Wage (Amendment) Bill into Law.

Many of the states, however, said certain conditions must be reached between the workers’ umbrella unions and the Federal Government for them to pay.

FAAC: FG, States, LGs share ₦619.85bn as revenues

The Accountant-General of the Federation (AGF), Mr Ahmed Idris, on Wednesday said the Federal Government shared N619.85 billion, as revenue generated in February to the three tiers of government.

The amount showed an increase of about N9.49 billion from what was shared in January.
