Akeredolu Frustrating My Campaign – Ondo Deputy Gov

Twenty-five days to the October governorship election in Ondo State, the candidate of the Zenith Labour Party, Mr Agboola Ajayi, on Tuesday accused the state governor, Mr Rotimi Akeredolu, of frustrating his campaign move.

He alleged that the governor refused to approve the venue to kick off his campaign in Akure, the state capital.

Ajayi, who is also the Deputy Governor of the state, alleged that the agency to approve the venue for the political campaign flag-off refused to approve the venue for the ZLP, in spite of the party’s readiness to pay the amount charged.

Governor Bala placed himself in self-isolation after he made contact with Mohammed Atiku, son to former Vice President Atiku Abubakar.

The Southern Kaduna Peoples Union (SOKAPU), Kaduna State, said the apology by the State Governor, Malam Nasir El-Rufai, to the people of Igabi and Giwa Local Areas of the State over bandits attack, showed a double standard played, on the part of the governor.
