Oba Of Benin Speaks On Unity Of Nigeria

The Oba of Benin, Omo N’oba N’edo Uku Akpolokpolo Ewuare II on Friday called for the peaceful co-existence and unity among Nigerians.

Uzodinma Speaks On Payment Of New Minimum Wage

Imo State Governor, Sen. Hope Uzodinma, has assured workers in the state of his readiness to pay the new national minimum wage of ₦30,000.

The governor gave the assurance in a maiden state wide broadcast in Owerri on Wednesday.

Uzodinma, who thanked workers for their patience and support, however, said that the time had come to give them a voice among their contemporaries in other states.

Enugu Speaks On Demand Of ₦500m From Airport Contractors

The Enugu State Government has denied the news making the rounds that the host community of the Akanu Ibiam International Airport, Enugu, which is undergoing major upgrade, demanded the sum of five hundred million naira (₦500,000.00) from the contractors handling the project.
