Spanish officials had last week revealed that Brahim Ghali, 73, is hospitalized in Spain for treatment of COVID-19.

The remains of Francisco Franco, Spain’s former right-wing dictator, are due to be exhumed on Thursday, after a legal and political battle that raised divisive questions over his legacy.

The plan is to move Franco’s body, via helicopter, from a massive mausoleum in the so-called ‘Valley of the Fallen’, north-west of Madrid, to the Mingorrubio cemetery to the north of the city.

Real Madrid’s Sergio Ramos has confirmed he has been fined by Spanish tax authorities for irregularities relating to his image rights between 2012 and 2014.According to the newspaper El Mundo, Ramos was fined one million euros for transferring revenue to his own company Sermos 32 SL, which is based in Spain, in order to pay less tax.
