Social Media Bill: Defiant Senate Ignores Public Outcry

In the days leading to the inauguration of the 9th Senate, stakeholders had raised  concerns about the recruitment process of the presiding officers of the upper legislative chamber.

Social Media Bill: Short Walk To Totalitarianism?

I have consistently tried to create levels of differentiation between democracy and dictatorship, especially dictatorships of the military variant as we have had in our country. I have argued that Nigeria is still very far away from the goal posts of what could be called a democratic society.
