Benue Hospital Records Over Over 700 Snake Bites In 2020

No fewer than 700 snake bites victims from different areas of Benue State survived in 2020 after treatment at Bishop Murray Memorial Hospital in Makurdi the hospital authorities have revealed.
The Health Coordinator Catholic Dioceses of Makurdi who is also the administrator of the hospital, made this revelation on Monday when the Governor of the State Samuel Ortom visited the facility to access the condition of victims of alleged herdersβ attacks.
Kpaleve said the Catholic-owned Bishop Murray hospital is renowned for the treatment of people who suffer snake bites even though it does not treat only snake bites.
