Official: MTN signs 7-year ₦200bn medium term facility

Leading Information and Communications Technology (ICT) company in Nigeria, MTN Nigeria Plc, has announced the signing of a seven-year N200 billion medium term facility.

Chief Executive Officer of the company, Mr Ferdi Moolman, announced this after signing the agreement at the law offices of Aluko & Oyebode in Lagos on Friday.

He said that the signing was with a consortium of seven local banks, with Citibank acting as co-ordinator and Quantum Zenith, as facility agent.

Tiwa Savage signs deal with Universal Music Group

Nigeria’s hot selling  singer and songwriter, Tiwa Savage has signed an international recording deal with the Universal Music Group.
Universal Music Group (UMG) is an American global music corporation and is the world leader in music-based entertainment.
The deal marked the end of her seven years contract with Mavin Records owned by renowned producer, Don Jazzy.

Pope Francis on Saturday joined Morocco’s King Mohammed VI in saying Jerusalem should be a “symbol of peaceful coexistence” for Christians, Jews and Muslims, on the first day of a visit to the North African country.
