‘Consensus On Principles’: US-China Trade Deal In Sight

Trade talks between the United States and China are progressing well and Washington aims to sign an initial deal this month, top Trump administration officials said on Friday.

Beijing’s state-run media outlet Xinhua said the world’s two largest economies had reached a “consensus on principles” during a constructive telephone call on Friday between their main trade negotiators.

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has urged voters not to be scared by what the party described as a shoot-on-sight directive against would-be ballot box snatchers.
