Shehu Sani Reacts As Witnesses Deny EFCC In Court

Shehu Sani, former Kaduna State lawmaker has reacted to the statements by prosecution witnesses denying they transferred $25,000 to him.

DAILY POST reported that a mild drama played out at the Federal High Court in Abuja as the prosecution witnesses denied ever transferring money to Senator Shehu Sani, who was being prosecuted for $25,000 bribery allegation.

The petitioner, Alhaji Sani Dauda, proprietor of ASD Motors had claimed that he gave Shehu Sani the sum of $25,000,

However, the witnesses, staff of the Guarantee Trust Bank denied knowing Sani

Buhari Told Not To Cancel Trip To Bayelsa For Swearing-In

Shehu Sani, a former lawmaker representing Kaduna Central district at the National Assembly has advised President Muhammadu Buhari not to cancel his earlier scheduled trip to Bayelsa for the swearing-in ceremony.

The President had concluded plans to storm Bayelsa on Friday for the swearing-in of governor-elect, David Lyon of the All Progressives Congress, APC.

But the Supreme Court on Thursday nullified the election of Lyon and his Deputy, Biobarakuma Degi-Eremienyo.

The apex court led by Justice Mary Peter-Odili on Thursday directed the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC to withdraw the Certificate of Return issued to the All Progressives Congress’ candidates

US Visa Ban: You Closed Nigerian Borders, Trump Was Right

Former Senator representing Kaduna Central Senatorial district, Shehu Sani, has reacted to the visa ban on Nigerian and five other countries by the U.S. President, Donald Trump.

DAILY POST reported earlier that U.S. President, Donald Trump imposed a visa ban on Nigeria and five other countries, which is expected to take effect on February 22.

Sani who, was recently released from the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) custody for alleged fraud, said the United States government has the right to impose a travel ban on Nigeria.

He supposedly inferred that the ban is ’right’ since the Nigerian government also
