Kaduna Internal Revenue Seals Off FCMB, Keystone Over ₦292m

Kaduna State Internal Revenue Service, KADIRS, has sealed off some bank branches in Kaduna for been indebted to the tuned of ₦292 million.

The affected banks are three branches each of the First City Monument Bank, FCMB, and Keystone Bank in Kaduna.

Report has it that the branches sealed off by the revenue agency as a result of over tax liabilities and PAYE are located at Sabon Tasha, Ali Akilu, Bank Road and Yakubu Gowon Way.

DPR Seals 17 Filling Stations In Gombe

The Department of Petroleum Resources (DPR) in Gombe State on Wednesday, sealed six filling stations for diversion of over 800,000 litres of petroleum product and operating with expired license.

Alhaji Abdullahi Abawa, DPR Head of Operation, disclosed this shortly after an inspection visit to some filling stations in Gombe.

News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the number of filling stations shut down so far in Gombe has risen to 17.

Lagos Govt Seals Quilox Club

The Lagos State Environmental Protection Agency has sealed off Club Quilox at Victoria Island, Lagos.

NAN gathered that Quilox was sealed for noise pollution and traffic congestion.

The Department of Petroleum Resources (DPR) Eket Field Office has sealed-off a Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) filling station in Uyo for discharging petroleum product and dispensing product to motorists at the same time. The Department of Petroleum Resources (DPR) on Tuesday sealed off an MRS filling station in llorin, the Kwara capital, for allegedly selling fuel with damaged pumps and under dispensing.

Ogun State Seals Off 2 Buildings, Marks 526 For Demolition

The Ogun government on Saturday sealed off two dilapidated buildings in Abeokuta and ordered occupants of the houses to move out within 24 hours.

The Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Urban and Physical Planning, Mr. Nafiu Adebiyi, told newsmen during an inspection tour that 526 other houses built on waterways, canal and erosion channels had been marked for demolition across the state.
