Sacked Lecturer Secretly Assumed Office As Commissioner

Prof Sidi Osho, who was reportedly dismissed by the Ogun State-owned Olabisi Onabanjo University appears to have secretly assumed office as the Commissioner for Education, Science and Technology in the state.

Osho’s dismissal letter went viral after she was nominated by Gov Dapo Abiodun as a member of his cabinet in December, 2019.

Kogi Education Commissioner Calls For Cultism Eradication

The Kogi State Commissioner for Education, Science and Technology, Hon. Wemi Ojo Jones has charged all heads of institutions in the state to intensify action in eradicating cultism in schools as directed by the Governor, Alh. Yahaya Bello.

The Commissioner gave the charge at the inaugural meeting he held with stakeholders in education on Monday in Lokoja. This was disclosed by Adamu Seidu, the Information Officer of the Ministry of Education.
