$200m new parliament: Sarkodie slams Ghanaian government

Ghanaian Hip-hop recording artist,Β Michael Owusu Addo professionally known as Sarkodie has slammed the Ghanaian government over its plan to build a new parliament, which will cost aboutΒ N72 billion ($200m).
Sarkodie in his reaction described the move of the proposed newΒ Parliamentary complex as a misplaced priority considering that the country and her citizens are facing lots of challenges.
The Parliamentary is expected to have a 450 sitting capacity, house facilities including diplomatic offices, a library, a museum, a church, a mosque, eateries, press conference rooms, galleries, a car park, an upper gallery garden, and a post office. The …
