In a fresh statement which he had put out, the former Emir of Kano, Muhammadu Sanusi II, has revealed that the children in Nigeria will be cursing the leaders of the country in the distant future for the accumulation of both internal and external debts following the country’s excessive borrowing.

Junaid Mohammed, a second republic lawmaker, says Muhammadu Sanusi II, Emir of Kano, lobbied for the position of vice-president when President Muhammadu Buhari was hospitalised in London.

Vice President Yemi Osinbajo on Monday brought Governor Abdullahi Ganduje of Kano State and the Emir of Kano, Muhammad Sanusi II together when he visited the palace of the Emir.

Ganduje Vs Sanusi: Emir Sanusi Bars Sokon Kano From Palace

Emir of Kano Malam Muhammad Sanusi ll has barred Sokon Kano, Alhaji Ahmadu Abdulwahab from the palace.

The action prohibiting Sokon Kano from access to the palace came 24 hours after an elders’ committee led by former Head of State, General Abdussalami Abubakar appealed to Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, and the emir to refrain from taking any further action in connection with the creation of new emirates in the state.

₦3.4billion: Sanusi denies allegation by Kano State Govt.

The Emir of Kano, Alhaji Muhammad Sanusi II on Saturday denied allegation by the Kano State Government that he mismanaged N3.4billion public funds.

Sanusi, in his response  to the query issued him by government earlier in the week, said the total amount he met in the accounts of the Kano Emirates Council on his assumption of office was N1,893,378,927.38.
