Sadio Mane Crowned Africa’s 2019 Player Of The Year

Liverpool star Sadio Mane was crowned on Tuesday as Africa’s 2019 Player of the Year for the first time at an awards gala in Egypt on Tuesday.

The 27-year old Senegalese striker was up against his Liverpool teammate Mohamed Salah, the Egyptian who won the award the last two years, and Algerian Riyad Mahrez of Manchester City.

Transfer: Sadio Mane In Shock Move To Real Madrid

Liverpool ace, Sadio Mane could leave the club for Spanish La Liga giants, Real Madrid in next summer’s transfer window.

According to Le10 Sport, Real Madrid have reportedly made contact with Mane’s representatives over a potential summer transfer deal for the forward at the end of the season.

The newspaper report that Real Madrid manager, Zinedine Zidane is a huge admirer of Mane and he is keen to link the winger up with Karim Benzema in the Los Blancos’ attack line next season.
