Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike, on Thursday ordered the sack of the Permanent Secretary of the State Ministry of Lands and Survey, Dumo Jack.

This is as the governor has declared that the Real Madrid Academy in Port Harcourt has already received over 1500 applications for admission into the Academy from across the country.

The sack of Jack, brings to two the number of Permanent Secretaries that have been sacked since May 29, 2019 when Wike was sworn in for the second term in office.

Embattled Senator representing Kogi-west Senatorial District, Dino Melaye while reacting to the Friday, Appeal Court Judgement said that in all things he gives glory to God.

Ekiti State Government has reverted appointments of over 2,000 workers by immediate governor, Ayo Fayose after the July, 2018 gubernatorial election.

The decision followed deliberations by the State Exective Council on the report of the committee headed by the deputy governor, Otunba Bisi Egbeyemi, that reviewed irregular appointments made between 2014 and 2018.

The government said the recruitment exercise violated due process.

It was gathered that the affected 2 ,000 workers comprises 600 teachers recruited into the Teaching Service Commission , 400 personnel employed into the State Universal Basic Education Board and 1,000 injected into the system through the Office …

All the permanent secretaries in Kano state civil service have been sacked with immediate effect by Governor Abdullahi Ganduje.

A statement signed by the Kano State Head of Service, Muhammad Awwal Na’iya on Thursday, said the action was in line with the present administration’s resolve to vigorously implement the reform initiatives embarked upon by the government.

The Osun State Governorship Election Tribunal has voided the election of Adegboyega Oyetola as governor of Osun State.

In a two-to-one split decision by a three-man panel, the tribunal declared Senator Ademola Adeleke of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) as winner of the election

Justice Peter Obiora, who read the lead judgement, voided the supplementary election held on September 27, 2018 on the ground that the state returning officer has no power to have cancelled election in seven polling units in four Local Government and order a rerun.
