President Biden who had earlier stated that the United States was on the side of Ukrainians in the on-going invasion by Russia led by President Vladimir Putin, reiterated the United States support to the Ukrainians. Russian regulators on Friday came hard on US tech giant Google and its video subsidiary YouTube accusing it of ‘terrorist’ activities, which appears to be the first step towards a possible access ban.

Russian soldiers occupying southern Ukraine’s Melitopol on Saturday kidnapped the mayor of the city, President Volodymyr Zelensky and Ukrainian officials have confirmed.

The Ukrainian parliament took to Twitter to announce the abduction saying; ‘A group of 10 occupiers kidnapped the mayor of Melitopol Ivan Fedorov’.
