PDP Spokesman, Kola Suffering From Coronavirus – APC

Tonye Princewill, a former governorship contestant in Rivers State, has lambasted Kola Ologbondiyan, spokesperson of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, over his comment on the outcome of the All Progressives Congress, APC, emergency National Executive Council, NEC, meeting.

Princewill said Ologbondiyan was suffering from Coronavirus for asking the Yobe State Governor, Mai Mala Buni to resign as governor.

Court Knocks Out Victor Giadom As APC Drama Shifts To Rivers

In a deepening drama in the All Progressives Congress, a Rivers State High Court has restrained Victor Giadom from parading himself as a member of the National Working Committee of party.

The court based its order on Giadom’s resignation as Deputy National Secretary of the APC, when he went to vie for the position of Deputy Governor in Rivers in 2019.

Giadom has been waving a court order by an Abuja court that appointed him as acting national chairman.

The APC National Working Committee responded by formally accepting his letter of resignation.

The Rivers State Police Command has concluded plans to begin demolition of hundreds buildings belonging to police personnel in the state.

The police authority in the state referred to the buildings as illegal structures erected on police lands.

The notice of demolition dated June 3 and addressed to all officers of buildings at Nimi Okoro police station in Port Harcourt and signed by the police provost Marshall for the state Commissioner of Police.

Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers state has given reasons why he demolished Prodest Hotel in Alode and Etemeteh Hotel in Onne, both in Eleme Local Government Area of the state.
