The Coalition of Concerned Northern Youths, CCNY, has asked President Muhammadu Buhari to honourably resign as Nigeria’s President, adding that he has failed woefully.

The Coalition, in a statement signed by its National Convener, Muhammed Ishaq and made available to DAILY POST on Wednesday, cited the President’s lack of the will power to tackle the security challenges facing the country.

This call by the youths Coalition followed a similar call by the Ango Abdullahi-led Northern Elders Forum, NEF, which had at the weekend declared the administration of President Buhari a total failure.

President Muhammadu Buhari has reacted to demand for his resignation by Senate Minority Leader, Enyinnaya Abaribe and others.

His position was contained in a statement Wednesday night by presidential spokesman, Garba Shehu.

The All Progressives Congress, APC, in Edo State, has charged the party’s National Chairman, Adams Oshiomhole to either resign from his position or excuse himself from all official functions of the ruling party.

46 Doctors Resign From Ojukwu Teaching Hospital

No fewer than 46 medical doctors have resigned from the Anambra State-owned Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University Teaching Hospital, Awka, over poor condition of service.

They were made up of 10 consultants and 36 resident doctors.

The university’s chairman of the Medical and Dental Consultants of Nigeria, Dr Chukwudi Okani, stated this on Wednesday in Awka, the Anambra State capital.
