FG Will Reopen Enugu Airport Before Easter 2020 β Sirika

TheΒ Minister of Aviation, Hadi Sirika, has given assurance that Akanu Ibiam International Airport, Enugu, would be reopened before the 2020 Easter celebration.
Sirika gave the assurance during the ministryβs budget defence before the House Committee on Aviation at the National Assembly, Abuja.
He also promised that the airport would be one of the best in the country at the end of the reconstruction work.
This is a departure from the earlier statement made by the minister that the airport would be reopened in time for the Christmas celebration this year.
