Local government chairmen who were sacked by Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State under the umbrella of the Association of Local Government of Nigeria (ALGON) have declared that they remained in office by the provision of the law of the land.

The General Officer Commanding 81 Division of the Nigerian Army Major General Olu Irefin has charged officers and men of the division to ensure that in the coming year 2020, they remain apolitical and do their best to elevate the force.

Hundreds of undocumented migrants calling themselves “black vests” stormed the Pantheon monument in central Paris on Friday demanding the right to remain in France.
