The Commandant General, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC),Mr Gana Abdulahi has ordered full investigations into the killing of the Imo North senatorial candidate of the African Alliance, Mr Ndubuisi Emenike, by its personnel of the Imo command.

DAILY POST had reported that Emenike was said to have been killed by a personnel of the NSCDC at its command in Imo during the re-run election at Okigwe North Federal Constituency on Saturday.

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Imo State has reacted to the resignation of its chairman, Chief Charles Ezekwem from the party.

NAN had reported that the Imo State chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Charles Ezekwem on Monday, announced his resignation from the party.

Ezekwem had said he resigned due to prevailing circumstances facing his party, and after due consultations with his family.

Femi Fani-Kayode, former Aviation Minister, on Sunday reacted to reports that abducted Dapchi schoolgirl, Leah Sharibu has converted to Islam and had given birth for a Boko Haram Commander.

Fani-Kayode expressed the belief that Sharibu was been demeaned, adding that the abducted schoolgirl would rather die than be converted.
