
Brazil Qualify For Qatar 2022 World Cup With Colombia Win
Lucas Paqueta’s instinctive strike was all Brazil needed to clinch a 1-0 World Cup qualifying win over Colombia on Thursday to book their place at Qatar 2022.
The five-time world champions join the hosts and Europeans Germany and Denmark as early qualifiers for next year’s finals.
The South American Giants won 11 of 12 the matches they played in the qualifiers with their only blemish coming in a goalless draw in Colombia last month. The win means the Samba boys have now qualified with six games to spare.
